The government for my country is a Constitutional Monarchy.
It is also a commonwealth country, which means the king/queen is in England.
A Constitutional Monarchy is when the country still has a king/queen but they are just a figurehead and are left out of the decision making.
It is also a democracy. This means the decisions made are by the people and considering the citizens of the country.
The leader of my country is called a Prime Minister.
I chose this government because it works well and I think is a good system of government.
I also think it is a fair system of government because everyone over the age of 18 can vote.
Everyone over the age of 18 has to vote to make it fair. If only some people voted you might end up with a leader you don't want.
